Aš, Czech Republic. Friday night at the ÖSOP Summer 2026 delivered exactly what the PLO community came for.

The €15,000 guarantee for the PLO Mystery Bounty was not just met. It was buried. By the time late registration closed, a field hungry for four-card action had pushed the total prize pool to €18,100, running more than €3,000 over the guarantee and proving once again that the appetite for PLO at Grand Casino Aš is anything but quiet.

The Numbers

137 unique players fired bullets, with another 44 re-entries hitting the felt. 181 total entries at €120 a pop (€100 to the prize pool, €20 fee) produced:

• Regular prize pool: €9,050
• Mystery Bounty pool: €9,050
• Total: €18,100

That is 21% over the guarantee. The field was bigger than the January edition of the same event.

The Winner: Highsider

When the dust settled, it was Highsider who collected the title. A €1,690 first-place prize plus €400 in bounties gave the champion a total haul of €2,090.

A solid result. But here is the twist: three other players walked out of Grand Casino Aš with more money.

The Real Story: When 8th Place Beats the Champion

This is what Mystery Bounty poker looks like when it fires properly.

Tim Laetzsch finished second. His €1,538 in prize money would have been a fine result on its own. But Laetzsch also ran absolutely scorching hot at the bounty drum, pulling €3,300 in bounties across the tournament. His total payout: €4,838. More than double the winner. More than a quarter of the entire prize pool in one player’s pocket.

Culziggas in third added €1,550 in bounties to his €1,572 prize money for a total of €3,122. Another player who earned significantly more than the official champion.

And then there is Hanns Hofmann. Finished 8th. Prize money: €310. But Hofmann pulled the single biggest bounty of the entire tournament, worth €2,000, to finish with a total of €2,310. He busted in 8th place and still took home more cash than the player who won the whole thing.

That is Mystery Bounty poker. The drum does not care about your finish position.

Friday was the warm-up. Saturday is where the serious money lives.

ÖSOP Sommer 2026: PLO Mystery Bounty Garantie pulverisiert, Highsider gewinnt

Aš, Tschechien. Der Freitagabend beim ÖSOP Summer 2026 hat geliefert, was die PLO-Community erwartet hat.

Die €15.000 Garantie des PLO Mystery Bounty wurde nicht nur erreicht. Sie wurde gesprengt. Als die Late Registration schloss, hatte ein hungriges Feld aus Four-Card-Liebhabern den Preispool auf €18.100 getrieben, über €3.000 über der Garantie, und damit wieder einmal bewiesen: Der Hunger nach PLO im Grand Casino Aš wächst jährlich!

Die Zahlen

137 Spieler haben sich registriert. Hinzu kamen 44 Re-Entries, was 181 Einträge insgesamt bedeutet:

• Regulärer Preispool: €9.050
• Mystery Bounty Pool: €9.050
• Gesamt: €18.100

Das sind 21% über der Garantie. Das Feld war größer als bei der Januarausgabe desselben Events.

Der Sieger: Highsider

Als sich der Staub legte, war es Highsider, der den Titel einsteckte. €1.690 Preisgeld plus €400 in Bounties ergaben einen Gesamtgewinn von €2.090.

Ein solides Ergebnis. Aber hier kommt das interessante: Drei andere Spieler verließen das Grand Casino Aš mit mehr Geld in der Tasche.

Die eigentliche Geschichte: Wenn Platz 8 mehr verdient als der Champion

So sieht Mystery Bounty Poker aus, wenn er richtig zündet.

Tim Laetzsch belegte Platz 2. Seine €1.538 Preisgeld wären schon ein feines Ergebnis gewesen. Aber Laetzsch lief an der Bounty-Trommel heiß wie selten, zog €3.300 in Bounties aus dem Spiel und kam auf einen Gesamtgewinn von €4.838. Mehr als doppelt so viel wie der Sieger. Mehr als ein Viertel des gesamten Preispools in einer einzigen Tasche.

Culziggas auf Platz 3 addierte €1.550 in Bounties zu seinem Preisgeld von €1.572 für insgesamt €3.122. Auch er kassierte deutlich mehr als der offizielle Champion.

Und dann ist da noch Hanns Hofmann. Platz 8. Preisgeld: €310. Aber Hofmann zog die größte Einzelbounty des gesamten Turniers, satte €2.000, und kam damit auf einen Gesamtgewinn von €2.310. Er schied auf Platz 8 aus und nahm trotzdem mehr Geld mit nach Hause als der Turniersieger.
