While the ink was still drying on Artur Vyborov’s $450k paycheck, the Onyx High Roller Series fired up the boosters with the $10,400 PLO 6-Max Turbo.
57 of the world’s best four-card specialists jumped into the fast lane, building a $547,200 prize pool in a matter of hours. When the dust settled, it was Norwegian pro Mads Amot who mastered the high-speed format, claiming the trophy and $163,800.

The $10k 6-Max Turbo is arguably the most volatile format in high-stakes poker. With shallow stacks and a ticking clock, “waiting for Aces” is a death sentence.
This format rewards pure aggression and the ability to navigate thin equity spots. It is a game for the closers.
Mads Amot, a seasoned PLO veteran, put on a clinic in short-stack pressure. He navigated a minefield of a final table that included some of the most dangerous aggressive players in the game, proving that in 2026, the road to PLO glory still goes through Scandinavia.

The final table was essentially a masterclass by European pros.
While Sean Rafael made a solid run to 6th place ($30,500), the top ranks were completely locked out by the EU pros.

The Netherlands continues to produce elite PLO talent. Lucas van den Belt (3rd for $81,400) and high-stakes legend Carlo van Ravenswoud (4th for $54,100) both made deep runs, solidifying their status as top-tier threats in any field.

However, the night belonged to Norway. After Eelis Parssinen (Finland) bowed out in 9th, it was up to Amot to bring the title to the Nordics. He defeated Youness Hussein Barakat heads-up, sealing a massive ROI boost in a single evening’s work.
