It was a true clash of generations—old schooler “Ben86” versus new schooler “omaha4rollz”—and the excitement of seeing who would come out on top was palpable.
The final hand delivered maximum drama. On a flop of Q♥8♠5♦, Bujtas held K♦Q♦10♠7♠ for top pair and flush draw, while Tollerene had A♥A♦10♣5♠.
The turn 7♥ gave Bujtas the lead, but the river A♣ swung the hand—and the tournament—back to Tollerene, sealing his third Triton title.
“The last hand was quite a wild ride,” Tollerene said.
With his third Triton title, Tollerene has not only secured a massive $2.4 million payday, but also cemented his place among the game’s all-time greats.
