In the WSOP Event #74 10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship Javier Francort goes from strength to strength. After finishing Day 1 as a chipleader with 556,500 chips, the Dutchman finished Day 2 with a 4 million chips stack.
Early play saw Francort maintain his position near the top. Mid-session he lost big chunks of his stack but in the last levels he was climbing ahead of everyone else.

One of his key moments came against Kyle Ho. On the turn J♠8♣2♠3♣, there were 328k chips in the middle. Francort checked, Ho bet 175k, which Francort check-raised. Ho went into the tank for a few minutes and announced all-in. After some consideration Javier Francort made the call:

Ho had a big lead and he had about 67,5% to scoop the pot but the Q♠ made the nutflush for Francort.
Javier Francort vs Joao Estanislau
In Level 20 Blinds 10k/20K 20K Ante Javier Francort raised to 70K. Ray Attiyah called on the button and Joao Estanislau in the small blind.
The flop came A♦K♥4♠ and Francort made a 100K cbet. Attiyah called and Estanislau check-raised to 400K. After some tanking Francort reraised pot, Attiyah folded, and Estanislau called and was all-in for a bit over 1 million chips.
Francort turned over K♠K♦J♠J♣ for a flopped set of Kings, Estanislau did not show his hand. Turn and River bricked for the Portuguese and Francort shipped an almost 3 million pot his way.
These strategic knockouts boosted his stack to 4.06 million chips. That equals 162 big blinds heading into Day 3.
Other players
Quan Zhou sits second with 2.41 million chips. Alex Foxen rounds out the top three with 1.91 million. Only Francort and Zhou hold stacks exceeding two million chips.
Javier Francort brings solid Pot Limit Omaha credentials despite no WSOP final tables. His resume includes five PLO titles. Three came from the recent Irish Poker Open.

Day 2 Eliminations Clear Path for Javier Francort
Several poker legends exited the $10K PLO Championship on Day 2. Phil Ivey and Phil Hellmuth both busted in the final level. Both players appeared positioned for deep runs.

The remaining 56 players return tomorrow at 1 p.m. PDT. Blinds start at 10,000/25,000 with a 25,000 big blind ante.
Day 3 continues for ten levels or until five players remain. A 60-minute dinner break follows Level 26.
