The Triton Poker Series in Jeju concluded with a spectacular performance by Robert Cowen. The UK professional captured his first Triton title in the $30,000 PLO Bounty Quattro Turbo. He secured $242,000 from the main prize pool and an astounding $380,000 in bounties. Robert Cowen claimed nine and a half of the ten available $40,000 bounties, absolutely dismantling a world-class final table in exactly 52 minutes.
The Bubble and Final Table Setup
The volatile nature of the Bounty Quattro format was on full display. The bounty bubble officially burst when Jason Koon eliminated David Wang in eleventh place. Shortly after, Robert Cowen knocked out Zhou Quan to set the official seven-handed final table. Jason Koon entered the final stage as the narrow chip leader over Robert Cowen, with Ben Tollerene, Lautaro Guerra, Gergo Nagy, Stephen Chidwick, and Punnat Punsri trailing behind. All seven finalists were making back-to-back deep runs, having recently vacated the $75K PLO event stage.
A Historic Final Table Run
The final table was entirely one-sided. In the first major collision, Robert Cowen eliminated both Gergo Nagy and Ben Tollerene. On a board of 2♥️Q♥️Q♣️9♦️K♣️, the Q♠️6♣️6♦️4♠️ of Robert Cowen bested the A♠️A♥️J♣️2♠️ of Gergo Nagy and the K♥️J♥️J♦️4♦️ flush draw of Ben Tollerene. Gergo Nagy took seventh place for $40,000, while Ben Tollerene finished sixth for $50,000. And immediately after, Robert Cowen woke up with pocket Aces to eliminate Punnat Punsri in fifth place.
The momentum of Robert Cowen continued with another brutal double knockout. Holding 9♣️8♠️5♠️2♥️, he turned a straight on a 4♥️2♦️6♣️7♣️ board to eliminate both Jason Koon, who held 10♠️8♥️6♠️6♥️ for a set, and Lautaro Guerra, who held Q♥️Q♣️J♥️5♥️.

Heads-Up Conclusion
The tournament reached heads-up play with Robert Cowen holding a massive 152 to 4 blind advantage over his countryman Stephen Chidwick. Although Stephen Chidwick managed a brief initial double-up, the comeback was cut short. Only a few hands later, the 9♥️9♦️8♥️3♠️ of Stephen Chidwick fell to the A♦️J♣️6♣️5♦️ of Robert Cowen after a rivered flush. Stephen Chidwick collected $175,000 for his runner-up finish, crowning Robert Cowen the undisputed champion of the closing event.
