Final Day Recap
Ben Lamb started the final table third in chips but quickly and quietly took control, playing small pots and accumulating chips without major showdowns. Chris Costa, who began the day as chip leader, set the tone early by eliminating Sean Winter in sixth place. On a flop of A♣️A♦️Q♦️, Winter was all in with A♥️J♥️T♦️9♦️, and was way ahead of Costa’s K♣️K♦️T♥️6♣️. The 2♣️ didn’t change anything, but when the K♥️ rolled down on the river, Costa improved to a full-house, knocking Winter out in sixth place for $58,500.
Cary Katz was the next to go, when Fernando “JNandez” Habegger moved all-in on the K♦️T♦️7♣️ flop. Katz showed A♣️Q♣️9♥️6♥️ vs Habegger’s 9♦️8♣️7♥️6♣️. The board ran out 2♥️ and 4♣️ and JNandez scooped the pot with just a pair of sevens.
Stefan Christopher hit the rail in 4th place for $99,400. Ben Lamb raised from CO to 280,000. Christopher moved all-in with 560,000. Lamb called.
Lamb: A♦️6♦️5♠️3♠️
Christopher: A♥️K♦️8♥️7♥️
The board cme 9♠️6♣️2♥️6♦️8♦️, giving Lamb trips.
Chris Costa was shortly after eliminated in 3rd place for a $128,700 payday when his A♠️Q♦️Q♠️2♠️ was not enough against Lamb’s two pair on the A♣️6♦️4♥️J♥️T♦️ board.

In the heads-up Ben Lamb successfully pulled away from Fernando Habegger. In the final hand Habegger 3bet his remaining 775,000 all-in which Lamb called instantly.
Lamb: Q♥️8♣️4♥️3♣️
Habegger: K♥️K♣️9♦️7♠️
The board ran out Q♣️5♣️4♦️T♠️Q♠️, giving Lamb a full house to scoop the final pot of the tournament.
