Alex Foxen entered the final day as the chip leader, having already made a statement at the end of Day 1 by eliminating both Joe Serock and Christopher Hannel in a single hand with a king-high flush. Only four players returned for Day 2, and Foxen wasted no time applying pressure.
On the very first hand, Foxen put Kamel Mokhammad all in, but Mokhammad doubled up. However, Mokhammad’s run was short-lived as he was eliminated by Michael Wang a few hands later, finishing fourth for $32,000.
Three-handed play between Foxen, Wang, and LaDarren Banks lasted nearly an hour. Banks got his chips in ahead of Foxen’s, but the board ran out, giving Foxen two pair and sending Banks out in third place for $44,000.
Heads-up play saw Wang briefly take the lead after making a superior flush, but Foxen quickly regained control. The tournament ended in dramatic fashion:
