Furth overomes 3 to 1 chip disadvantage heads-up

Fabian looked like the sure winner for a long time.

At one point in the heads-up, the German had a more than 3 to 1 chip lead, but but he wasn’t able to bring it home.

Key Moment: Caleb Furth Outflops Aces

The tide turned in the following key hand:

Board: 8♠ 2♠ 2♣ J♣

Riebau-Schmithals led for 1M, Furth raised to 5M, and Riebau-Schmithals potted. Furth shoved for 11.95M and was snap-called.

Fabian Riebau-Schmithals: A♣ A♦ Q♣ 9♦

Turn: 2♠: Furth bet 1,200,000, Riebau-Schmithals raised to 5,400,000, Furth shoved, and Riebau-Schmithals called.
